The next Boothbay Region Alumni Association meeting will be held on Thursday, May 16 at 4:15 p.m. in the high school library.

Association president Lynn Martin said via email, "We are finalizing plans for the Alumni cookout (June 2, noon at Barrett’s Park), as well as making plans to decorate for the Grand March. The Grand March is scheduled for Thursday, June 6 at 7 p.m. Please note this year, the Grand March begins an hour earlier. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Tickets are only available at the door -- no advance ticket sales. Admission is $5, with all proceeds going to the Alumni Association. These proceeds help year after year to assist with graduation expenses.

"The school is still taking donations to help offset the cost of tuxedo rental. We are about $400 shy of our goal. People can make their donations payable to Boothbay Region High School, in the memo line, please write, tuxedo donation."
