Make reservations for Victorian Christmas at Alna railway museum

    Now in its 17th season, the Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum in Alna will welcome a special visitor from the North Pole to the museum for it Victorian Christmas trains. Victorian Christmas will take place the two Saturdays prior to Christmas Day, Dec. 16 and 23.

    The event takes place snow or shine at 97 Cross Road and includes train rides to visit with Santa Claus, horse drawn wagon (or sleigh) rides, ornament making, snacks and more. Trains will leave throughout the day with the first leaving at 10:30 a.m. As a thank you to our friends and neighbors throughout the Sheepscot Valley, the event is entirely free of charge.

    To help accommodate the large number of visitors expected, reservations are recommended. They are available free online at wwfrytickets.simpletix.com. Additionally, a limited number of passes will be available the day of the event. Victorian Christmas has become a tradition for many families from the Midcoast and beyond. To facilitate parking, ticketing and boarding, please arrive an hour before your train. See you there!
